About

Smile! You’ve the best smile in the world. Yes..That looks good.

Hi,

I am a lover…a lover of life.

I am a traveller….a traveller of journey called LIFE.

I am a mother….and I am proud of being that.

I am a life partner …of a very loving person and I want to share all my tomorrows with him.

I am a learner…from the ups and downs of life.

I am Happy…with what I have.

And I am not perfect.

Yes, I am not perfect. I don’t know exactly what I want from life. I never set long term goals…always have short ones. I am not that clear headed. I just want to live…and live happily. I am amazed at the people who know what they want to do and how to go about it. Ok, that being confessed, I want to say that I like to continuously upgrade myself.

At present, my first and foremost priority is my child who needs my love, time, attention, and guidance.

And when the time allows, I like to read books…no, I love to read books. Thrillers and suspense are my favorite genres. At one point of time, I was in love with Jason bourne (from the books, not from the movie). Talking of love, I was in love with Michael Scoffield (of prison break fame) and Michael Westen (from tv show Burn Notice) too. Am I crazy? Does this happen to you too? Have you ever fallen in love with any reel or book characters?

Another thing that I love to do is traveling, and I want to do it more often. Beaches and water bodies attract me more than the hills do. I’ve mentioned in my earlier post that I am a sailor’s wife and have been on many sailing trips. Oceans elevate me. And you know what, I’ve crossed the equator 3-4 times and International date line once by sea. And sailors celebrate this travel milestone for the 1st timers who are onboard their good vessel. Among 5 oceans, I’ve sailed in all the oceans except Arctic ocean and out of 7 continents, I’ve set my foot on all of them except south America and Antarctica. I’ve even crossed panama canal. I’ll be sharing many travel experiences in my upcoming blogs. ONE THING, that I want to share here is that I want…desperately want to go to Iceland or Norway to see NORTHERN LIGHTS. That’s in my bucket list. I would like to hear from you too about your travel milestones and wish list. @trablog, I’ll soon be sharing my bucket list on your site.

I like to keep on acquiring new skills. Skills that I love to learn. I learned to swim 4-5 years back. Can you believe that? I was an absolute non swimmer and had fear of water. I like to learn new languages too. Know a bit of French . Only elementary. Planning to learn spanish sometime soon. Will you tell me, what languages you know other than your mother tongue?

I like to keep myself fit. I am a regular gym-goer. Most of the things that I’ve mentioned in my post “5 interesting things..” , I do it myself.

I would love to learn photography and click hell lot of amazing shots.

Ok….Enough about me….!

If you like my posts, do let me know. And if you don’t like them, do tell me the ways to improve them. I’m all ears. I really want you to help me become a good blogger and writer.

Keep living! Keep smiling!

  3. I’m no professional at photography, amature at best but if you want to get into photography start with things you know like family or pets or your garden or a park near by. Try playing with shadows and different lighting conditions. Learn what you like. One hint I was taught was sometimes don’t put the main focus right in the center. Off set the main image to the right or left a little more. That’s one of the few things I learned in high school Cheers. And good luck. And I really like your blog.

  5. Super happy that I found your blog – definitely following for more! And about long term plans – they hardly ever work out! Life always has its own plans for us, and that’s not a bad thing! P.s. my native language is Russian, but I also speak English, Ukrainian and German 🙂

  6. having never crossed the equator I am jealous that you’ve crossed it so many times. Crossing the international date line by sea sounds special. I’m intrigued what was the celebration by the other sailors? General jumping up and down or something ritualistic and steeped in history? Great introduction. I have so much to see in the world.
